Comprehensive College Essay Tutoring: What to Expect

What to expect from this online college essay tutoring experience:

What does this set of college essay tutoring sessions include?

1. TWO early draft reviews with detailed feedback + coaching
2. ONE final draft review with grammar editing

How does it work?

Access my calendar and book a meeting to serve as the "due date" for your final draft review. This will reserve your college essay tutoring with me, and tells me that you want to work through two rough drafts and receive a final draft review of your college essay from me by that date.

• Once you book your tutoring, you will receive a confirmation email with instructions on how to email me your college essay draft.
• If you did not purchase and pay for your essay tutoring on my ko-fi shop, you will receive instructions via email regarding payment options. Payment must be received before I can begin reviewing your essay drafts.
• After I receive your first draft, I will send it back to you with comments and editing suggestions. I will include a video walk through of my feedback as well. If we need to have a couple of email exchanges to clarify any questions you have about my feedback -- no problem! We can also schedule a 15 minute call at no additional cost if that seems more helpful.
• We will repeat this process one more time, and then you will send me your final draft for review.
• I will email you your final draft with any remaining comments (although, hopefully everything should be as close to perfect as possible by then!), and I will make sure to proofread your final draft for any grammar issues.

Cancellations & Refunds

If you cancel your online tutoring 24 hours before the due date you booked on my calendar AND before you have sent me any drafts of your essay, you will receive a 100% refund less any processing fees (~$7.00).

If you send me your essay draft and I have already begun reviewing it, and then you ask to cancel tutoring before I send you the feedback, a partial refund will be issued based on the amount of time/effort I have put in at that point.

Once I have returned your first draft review, if, for some reason, you decide not to move forward with any additional tutoring, you may receive a 40% refund, less the Stripe processing fees. The only instance in which I imagine this occurring is if you or your student feels confident that they do not need any additional feedback in order to bring the college essay to the finish line.
